Apify Actor

Scrape Google Play reviews to CSV, Excel, or JSON

Export Google Play app reviews on Apify: rating, text, version, date, helpful votes, and developer replies. Filter by stars and date. Optional insights are billed separately.

$0.005 per run start. Reviews $0.40 to $0.20 per 1,000 reviews.

How it works

1

Add Play apps

Paste package names such as com.spotify.music, or Play Store URLs. Set a max review count per app, or 0 for no cap.

2

Filter the export

Choose language, star ratings, a date range, and whether to include developer replies. Turn on omit reviewer names for a privacy-friendlier file. You only pay for reviews that pass the filters.

3

Run and export

The Actor reads publicly visible Play Store reviews, newest first. No login. Optional insights (rating mix, monthly trend, complaint and praise phrases, feature requests, lowest-rated versions) are computed from that run, with no external AI service.

What you get

Sample use cases

Release postmortems

Export reviews around a version and look for crash, login, or billing language before the average rating moves.

Competitor app research

Study a public Play listing for repeated UX complaints. Use the file internally. Do not republish reviews as your own social proof.

Insights without leaving Apify

Turn on app insights for a rating breakdown and phrase list, or download CSV and run the free Review Analyzer in the browser.

Frequently asked questions

How do I scrape Google Play reviews to CSV or JSON?

Open the Google Play Reviews Scraper on the Apify Store, add package names or Play URLs, run the Actor, and download CSV, Excel, or JSON.

Does this replace Play Console exports?

If you own the app, Play Console remains the official export. This Actor is for public Play Store reviews when you need a dataset from a listing URL or package name.

Can I omit reviewer names?

Yes. Turn on omit reviewer names to leave reviewerName empty. You are still responsible for lawful use, including GDPR.

Does it scrape the Apple App Store?

App Store input exists as an experimental extra. Apple currently exposes only a small public sample per country, so treat it as a preview, not full coverage. This guide is for Google Play.

Is this affiliated with Google?

No. Bozoma Labs is not affiliated with Google. You are responsible for lawful use of public Play Store reviews.

Honest notes

  • You are responsible for lawful use of the data, including GDPR and other privacy rules.
  • Turn on omit reviewer names if you do not need names.
  • Public Play Store data only. No login is used.
